Mendel Kaelen

I am a neuroscientist based at Imperial College London specialised in the therapeutic function of music in psychedelic therapy. I am interested in how non-drug variables, also known as the "setting", can be strategically utilised to optimise the therapeutic experience and outcomes.

Together with artists and engineers I collaborate to translate insights from science into therapeutic applications, including the creation of new music and the design of therapy rooms for therapeutic work with psilocybin and MDMA.

Do not hesitate to get in touch when I may be of help to your work.
