about

Mendel Kaelen

I am a neuroscientist based at Imperial College London specialised in the therapeutic function of music in psychedelic therapy. I am interested in how the setting in which a psychedelic medicine is taken can be strategically utilised to optimise the therapeutic experience and outcomes. Together with artists and engineers I collaborate to translate insights from science into therapeutic applications.

Current projects include the design of music playlists and the design of therapy rooms for therapeutic work with psilocybin and MDMA.

Do not hesitate to get in touch, if you think I may be of help to your work.
